and then there was peace!

I was sitting in the pews of Infant jesus church to get some order of my mind and energy. With a deep breath I started thinking about my hopes and aspiration, as usual eye wanders and mind wanders and I start looking at the various people in the church - their intensity, their desperation, the ritualistic body language, kids getting trained on etiquettes of praying... all this and more kept my mind away from things that have been bothering me and suddenly i realized guiltyly that my thoughts were still not sorted out.

I have nver figured out how to pray and I have a feeling that the entire population has the same deliema. do you start by whining about all unfullfilled agendas or do you start by begging God to bless your family and good freinds or is it better to start by thanking God for everything he has done and given. Well,my routine depends on my mood - if i have had a really bad day then I take it out on God with exaggerated moanings bout my life at the moment, but otherwise am overtly thankful for another day of living.

Today was a day of asking God to bless the people I care about, its almost like the thank you speeches in the oscars where you hope you havenot forgotten anybody lest they dont get blessed and I feel happy as the list gets longer which means that many people care about me!!

there are a lot of ways to pray in this world, but personally I think its not enough to say the words, its the intensity and the belief which makes you experience the peace within.
